The good news is that it appears that the Region could receive it’s first cold front of the season. This means an end to, or at least a break from, summer like weather. Historically, it also means reduced risk of tropical cyclone activity hitting the Texas Coast. We cannot complete rule one out as late season storms have impacted the Texas Coast, but we still welcome the seasons first cold front.
