Mother’s know just want to do and want to say to brighten even the darkest of times. It’s only fitting that a Sunny Mother’s Day would end our long week of severe weather.

It was a long, nail-biting week for everyone across the region. Estimated totals for the past 5 days range from 1 to 3 inches to our north to 14 to 15 inches through central Fort Bend County.
Over the past 24 hours, the Brazos River in Richmond continued to fall slightly faster than the projections. We should continue to see the water through Fort Bend bend County recede; however, we will remain in Action Stage through the end of next week.
